2019 Best WAEC results

In 2019, the whole country was stunned when a student of the Jesuit Memorial College Port Harcourt, whose name is Stephanie Chizobam Ugboaja came out with the best WAEC result. She came out on top with 9 As in that year’s WAEC examination. 

It was an incredible feat in an examination that 1,596,161 students from 18,639 secondary schools participated.

She sat for the following subjects: Further Mathematics, General Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Civic Education, Economics, and Data Processing, getting A1 in all of them.

The 2020 WAEC results were the most popular of them all the WAEC best results awards in recent times, as the top 3 students with the best WAEC results were all female students, the students are:

Best WAEC result in 2022

The WAEC has released its statistics on the results of WAEC 2022. 

The Best WAEC result in 2022 was gotten by  Valour Mbre-Inyang of Topfaith International Secondary School, Mkpatak in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Mbre-Inyang had nine A1s in the 2022 WAEC.

According to WAEC, A total of 1,274,784 candidates, representing 81.7 percent of the total 1,560,261 candidates that sat the examination was said to have secured credit pass in five subjects including English and Mathematics.

This record puts WAEC results of 2022 as the best WAEC result of the last decade, based on its high success percentage.
