Upon completion of the program, which typically lasts 7-12 months, successful candidates are admitted to relevant undergraduate courses at the school where they completed the program. 

4. Part-time/weekend/evening programs:

Almost all colleges offer part-time programs. Part-time courses are equivalent to full-time courses (i.e. admission via JAMB) concerning the certificate. The differences are that not all degree programs are part-time, part-time programs take an extra year, and finally, part-time graduates do not go into the National Youth Service Corps.

Almost all universities of applied sciences also offer evening and weekend programs. Some colleges have one that is also called the Daily Part-Time Program (DPT).
