WAEC recruitment requirements

The portal for WAEC recruitment for 2024 is open to all interested individuals. Applications for the job openings at WAEC should only be submitted through the official WAEC registration portal. 

Job vacancies at the WAEC board are available for anyone, whether they are degree holders or not. The requirements for application include:

1. Working email address.

Before any applicant is hired by WAEC, there are certain requirements that must be satisfied to prove readiness and fitness for the WAEC screening exercise. Satisfying those requirements increases a candidate’s chances of passing the screening. 

 The requirements are listed below:

1. They must be ready to work in a new working environment.
2. Applicants are expected to be of a level of mental and physical fitness.
3. They must have not less than 5 credits in not more than two sittings in the following examinations; West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and General Certificate of Education (GCE). 
4. They must have either B.Sc, HND, OND, or NCE from a recognized institution.
5. Applicants must be well-behaved and have good composure.
6. Every interested individual must have a valid form of identification. It can be a national driver’s license, national identity card, international passport, voters card, or NIN number.
7. Every applicant must present a birth certificate or certificate of age declaration.
8. Educational certificates from any tier of education must be scanned and uploaded. The uploads must not exceed 120kb and must be more than 50kb. The width of the upload should be between 400 pixels to 1200 pixels, the height should fall between 600 pixels to 1500 pixels.
9. A passport photograph must be scanned and uploaded, its size should be between 7kb and 30kb, and its dimension should be between 275 by 314 pixels.

1. Go to the official WAEC recruitment site via https://recruitment.waec.com.ng/, www.waeconline.org.ng, or www.waecnigeria.org.
2. Fill in the required details of the application form, free of charge.
3. Ensure that the application form is filled in carefully. Bio-data cannot be edited once it’s submitted.
4. Only the shortlisted candidates from the application process will move on to the next phase of the recruitment screening exercise. 
5. Information about the screening of shortlisted applicants will be conveyed through email.
